First Round of Kickstarter Custom Designs Starts!
We’re gearing up to start working on the first round of Kickstarter custom designs for those who backed the “Design Starter” and higher tiers, and that process begins with you! First up are the custom weapons, hairstyles, and artwork. Once these are sorted out, we’ll move on to the other designer perks.
While we encourage creativity, there are some guidelines for your creations so that they fit into the world of Sandrock. For the full guidelines, please check your email. There are also limited slot quantities for each type (such as type of weapon or category of hairstyle) to provide a balanced selection of types, so first come, first served! If you don’t get your first choice, you’ll have to go with your next choice!
If you’re looking for inspiration from Portia’s custom weapon designs, head to the Portia wiki here and check out Obsidian Edge, Ruin Text Claymore, and Macuahuitl. There are many more weapon types to choose from this time around.
For custom artwork, check out Painting: Moritz, Painting: Sea Lion, and Painting: Boy. If you’re not eager to put your own art into the game, you can submit your friend’s art or artwork you’ve commissioned instead, and that artist will be credited. But get that artist’s permission first!
And as for hairstyles, so long as we can make it work, there’s no limit on hair type, style, length, or number of colors you can use. Go wild!
Emails have been sent out to backer addresses with detailed instructions on how to submit your designs.
